Stories behind the photos.
First of all, I must confess that I’m not a writer at all. By stepping out of my comfort zone and starting this blog, I want to force myself to write down more of the wonderful, crazy, weird and beautiful stories of the people I have photographed over the years. I have a pretty bad memory and I regret that I never took the time to write down these stories. But it’s never too late and hopefully I’ll learn to write better (and faster) just by doing it.
I’ll share new stories of people who will cross my path from now on. And I’m going to write down old stories from my Pop Up projects, collected from my lousy brain. All this to keep reminding myself that every person is unique and has a story to tell that I can learn from. I just need to stay curious and take the time to listen (and photograph!).
I like to celebrate people with my camera and yes I am on a crusade to inspire people to just say hello with a compliment to others as I know it transforms our lives.

Yes – there’s such a benefit to stepping out of our comfort zones! Your photos do that in so many ways – it’s wonderful to see you practice that with blogging.
Thank you Josh! Indeed, it always brings you something. Learning by doing 🙂
